Description
The 316 Stainless Steel Top-Mount Square Post for Cable Railing - 36" for Stairs from West Railings is the core of the modern cable railing system installation. These top-mounted posts are designed so the handrail on top will be at the specific code-compliant height range for stairs (34" to 38" measured from the nose of the step). Pre-drilled with ten holes so cable and tensioners are easily attached.
Made with 316 'marine' grade stainless steel; it will be a great choice for indoor and outdoor installations.
Base cap, top bracket and saddle are included. Compatible with square and rectangular handrail. If the top saddle needs to be compatible with a round top handrail, contact us so we can provide the correct pieces.
Post contains 10 holes spaced 3" from each other. The gap between cables won't exceed 4", even with some deflection of the cables which is the maximum per code. Posts must also be installed no further than 4 feet from each other to follow code.
Compatible with stairs (33 to 38 degrees)
Compatible with 1/8" thick stainless steel cables and 5/32" thick stainless steel cables.
