Customizations
We can customize some of our products if you'd like. We can cut the rails for you and we also can powder-coat the hardware.
Cutting the rails:
If you know exactly the sizes you need and you want to get the rails from us already cut to the proper size or, if you want to avoid expensive trucking charges and get your rails delivered by mail or UPS, we are able to cut the rails for you so the size of the package gets reduced.
You'll need to provide exact lengths of the rails you want and pay the cutting fee. For handrails and top cap rails, our fee for the first cut is $50 and then, $25 for each additional cut. For slim base shoe tracks, the first cut is $50 and then, $30 for each additional cut.
We don't do miter cuts (on an angle) or cut materials that the total length of the piece exceeds 80% of the original length of the piece. If you need to have a cut that exceeds 80% of the total length, you'll be charged for the entire part (original length).

Powder-coating:
Powder-coating is basically the professional service that will paint the hardware you are purchasing. This is a great option for two main reasons: (1) Provide the color you want or that will match your property the best and, (2) Provide an extra coat of protection on your already element-resistant hardware. This service is especially recommended for hardware that will be installed outdoor near the Ocean. This will avoid cleaning and maintenance of the railings and keep your material intact long term.
We can powder-coat stainless steel (of any grade) and aluminum. There are about 150 colors to choose from and depending on the size of the purchase, samples can be provided. There's a minimum fee of $500 for this service (batch) that will include a good amount of hardware and after that, the price will vary depending on the materials and quantity required.
Please consider a minimum 10 business days turnaround for this service.
Some products can't be powder-coated for technical reasons or will lose its function if painted. Some materials that can't be powder-coated are cable for cable railings and fittings (tensioners) for cable railings.
